Overnight fire at Auction Galleries on Evans Avenue in southeast Denver caused serious damage.

Denver Watering Times: 2013 Watering Schedule Restrictions Lifted June 26, 2013

The two-day-per-week mandatory Denver watering schedule has been lifted. Effective June 26 residents can now water on the days of their choosing. However, still abiding by the restriction of watering 3 days a week.

Stage 2 drought restrictions were put in place April 1 but an unexpectedly wet spring and reduced water use has resulted in the Denver Board of Water Commissioners declaring a Stage 1 drought.

Spring Snow Storm Along Highline Canal Denver

Three Ponds Park - Along Highline Canal - Cherry Hills

This is a great little park to stroll around. It is located just off of Colorado Blvd & Quincy in Cherry Hills Village. There is parking and the open space portion of Three Ponds is dotted with old equestrian jumps. This park is just off the Highline Canal trail, which begins near the foothills in Roxborough park (near Chatfield reservoir). Southwest of Denver, and winds gently 70+ miles north/ northeast out to Green Valley Ranch near Denver International Airport.

The suicide occurred at 4:15 today in Eisenhower Park. My prayers go out to his loved ones. Very sad.
