I discovered a large wild strawberry patch near the Highline canal the other day. Where exactly? I just can't say. I can say it is close to Bible Park in southeast Denver and near Hutchinson park (just south of Bible Park).

Do you know where other wild fruits or vegetables grow in the area? I have been told asparagus grow wild along the canal just north of Bible park and also along the Highline near Belleview and University, however, I have been on the hunt for 3 years and have not yet found anything. I DO know of many great apple and peach trees and even a couple plum....the asparagus continues to elude me. Perhaps someday!
